TRIP TO MAURITIUS

ITINERARY
DAY 1: AHMEDABAD – MUMBAI
After noon departure by Flight for Mumbai. On arrival Immigration formalities and departure.
DAY 2: ARRIVE IN MAURITIUS
Upon your arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel after lunch on the way, where you will explore the beach, enjoy a fabulous dinner, and spend a comfortable night. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
DAY 3: NORTH ISLAND TOUR
After breakfast, you will depart for a full day tour of North Island, on which you will visit such interesting sights as the capital city - Port Louis, Place d' Arms with its French colonial buildings and the exotic Caudan Waterfront. In the evening, you will return to your hotel where you will enjoy a fabulous dinner, and spend a comfortable night. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
DAY 4: SOUTH ISLAND TOUR
After breakfast today, you will depart for a full day tour of South Island, on which you will visit such important sights as the Trou aux Cerfs - the crater of an extinct volcano, Grand Bassin - a natural lake at the base of volcanic crater and a pilgrimage place for Hindus, and Chamarel (Coloured Earth) - with its vibrant hues and waterfalls. In the evening, you will enjoy a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
DAY 5: ILE AUX CERFS TOUR BY SPEED BOAT
After breakfast, you will depart in a coach for a full day excursion to Ile Aux Cerfs, which is an emerald lagoon on the east coast. From the jetty you will be taken on a speed boat to reach the island. Once you reach Ile Aux Cerfs, you will have the day free to indulge in beach and water sports activities at your own cost. DAY 6: DEPARTURE FROM MAURITIUS

Mahabalewshwar & Panchgani
Mahabaleshwar
Mahabaleshwar is situated amidst the heights of the Sahyadris, about 120 km south of Pune. Situated at a height of 1372 m, Mahabaleshwar is one of the most popular and picturesque hill resorts in Maharashtra. A popular holiday resort with the Burra Sahibs of the Raj, the thick foliage of the hill station is punctuated with generously sized bungalows of another age. Mahableshwar is having the highest rainfall in the Monsoon in Maharashtra.
Mahabaleshwar's famous "points" offer breathtaking views of valleys that are full of evergreen forests and lush undergrowth. Springs and water falls abound in the area offering lovely picnic spots. If one really wants to enjoy nature in all its placid glory, it is a must for every visitor to take leisurely walks along these sylvan paths. One can also ride on ponies' backs, savouring nature's virgin viridity.
The five rivers Krishna, Koyna, Venna, Gayatri and Savitri meet together at this temple area. The rivers Krishna , Koyna and Venna flow towards the plateau and the river Gayatri and Savitri flow towards Konkan. There are also other famous temples in this area. Manikbai and Gangabai are the two medical centers.
VENNA LAKE
Most of tourist love to go boating on Venna Lake. For a small sum of money you can go paddle boating or rowing your own boat all around the lake for as long as you wish till sundown. Here you can find many vendors and stalls for snacks, soft drinks and hot drinks. s Often Schools come here on excursions and picnics. One can go for horse rides as well.
PRATAPGAD
Pratapgad fort is considered to be the highest point of the range with a full view of the surrounding places. Pratapgad 3543 feet above sea level, is famous in Maratha history. Early in his career it was the seat of Shivaji, the founder of the Maratha EmpirePratapgad was built in 1656 by the famous Brahmans minister Moro Trimbak Pingle at the command of Shivaji, who pitched upon this high rock near the source of the Krishna, thereby securing access to his possessions on the banks of the Nira and the Koyna and strengthening the defence of the Par Pass. In 1659, the foot of the hill was the scene of Shivaji's famous interview with the Bijapur general Afzalkhan and of Afzalkhan's death.
PANCHGANI
Situated at an altitude of 1334 mts it lies just 38 m below Mahabaleshwar. It gets name from the 5 hills around it. The way to Panchgani from Mahabaleshwar which is 18 kms is absolutely spectacular. The Krishna river that meanders through the farms, ravines and hamlets on one side and the coastal plains on the other side has a mesmeric charm. Panchgani has been a retreat for a long time. It displays architecture of Old British building. Parsi houses and the boarding school which would be almost a century old. Worth visiting places in Panchgani are the Table Land, Sydeny Point, Kanga point and Katchbavadi

21 – Jan Morning arrival at Mahabaleshwar & Check in to Hotel. After Lunch visit to Old Mahabaleshwar Temple & Panchdhara Temple Author Seat Point, Echo Point, Monkey point & Sunset Point. Evening Entertainment Programme at the Resort. Dinner & Overnight stay at the Resort.
22 – Jan After breakfast Visit Pratapgarh & back to Resort. Lunch at the resort. After Lunch Explore Verna Lake & Shopping .Evening Entertainment Programme at the resort. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel
23 – Jan Early Morning after breakfast check out & make a trip to Panchgani covering Mapro garden and factory, Parsi point and table Land. Lunch at Mapro Garden. Afternoon drive to Ahmedabad.
24 – Jan Morning arrival at School Campus
